This is a leather version of our immensely popular vegan tote. We've updated 60% of the bag after our feedbacks (thank you!) - nice soft leather, new inner linings, sewing and zippers.

The only reason it did not get 5 stars is I was a bit disappointed in the color. I realize leather takes color differently, but the color is more an orangy tan than a tangerine. Other than that, I love it.

I ordered the yellow bag. The bag I received is orange (see photo). The company says this is the yellow bag that I ordered. They say they’ve renamed the color Tangerine but the web site still says yellow. The name and photo on the web site are very deceiving. My photo shows the true color of the “yellow” bag. Other than the color, the bag is great! Lightweight. Strong, roomy, lots of compartments, very well made.

I love this bag however, I have had this bag for less than 6 months and the zipper has been changing from black to gold over the past couple of months. I do not use this tote daily. I am disappointed in the quality of the zipper used. The rest of the bag is great. But I have stopped using the bag altogether because it doesn’t look nice with the zipper half black and half gold.

This is a BIG Purse. It looks smaller in the picture. I love it because it if big and roomy. You can carry lots of stuff in it. The genuine leather is beautiful. There is one zipper pocket on the front which I prefer would have been an open pocket. I would have preferred the main compartment to be open or a snap I do not like having to unzip to get stuff out. If you lived in a big city and had to worry about pick/pockets the zippers would be great. I just prefer no zipper to access the main part. I love the arrangement of the inside .

It is long enough to suffice for a work bag if you do not carry shoes, clothes etc. For work, it is great!

Like the design, but the bag is not the leather advertised. It’s either split or bonded leather, the outside is a hard, shiny, manmade material that screams plastic. Want to return but I think I have to pay return shipping. Extremely disappointed with the material deception.

This is such a beautiful bag and worth the wait. I like that it's taller so I can fit a water bottle inside or a magazine or my ipad. It also stands well and doesn't flop over ever though it's taller. I will say when the bag arrived it had the most horrific smell, it wasn't the kind of smell like leather, it was something else. I left it outside for a few days in the cold and it helped. I can happily report after weeks of use, there is no longer any smell!

I don’t think this purse is worth $119. It’s not leather like you claim. It smells like chemicals not leather. If I saw this purse in the store and it was more then $30 I would have walked right past it. I don’t want to deal with the hassle of returning but I probably won’t use it.

This is my favorite tote bag ever. I am in love with the color! I am in love with the shiny beautiful leather. I love that I have a zippered pocket for my cell phone on the outside of my bag and that I have a zipper on the top of the tote to keep everything secured and safe in my bag, with a convenient and quick unzip when I need them. I love carrying this bag. I love using this bag. And everyone complements me on how beautiful it is. It has a classic style all its own. In love with it!

This is a beauty of a tote. It’s the perfect size for travel, which is why I bought it. My iPad fits inside along with all the usual handbag items. The leather color is exactly as shown, which I love. There is only one wish, it doesn’t have little “feet” or metal knobs on the bottom; however it’s a reminder to me to keep the tote OFF the floor, which is a good thing.

Love my new work carryall bag from mdbm! I got the tangerine color and it’s a beautiful orange-ish tint as you can see… less yellow than it seems online but gorgeous just the same and very unique. The inside is practical and has 3 sections , one of them zippered .. plus love the inside zip pocket and open pockets for quick grab items. Nice that this bag has an outside pocket as well. I think the bag is very stylish and well made! I’d definitely purchase from mdbm again .. if on the fence, don’t hesitate, buy now!

I love the Marseille Tall Tote in Blue. The inside of the bag has 3 compartments which helps me to keep my things well organized inside. The leather is beautiful with a nice sheen to it, like it was hand polished. The feel of the leather is soft and smooth and very supple. I love carrying this tote and will be ordering more bags in the future. I highly recommend this bag, you won't be disappointed.

I love the bag itself. It’s made nicely, is light and has lots of room. However there was a terrible chemical smell when I opened the package which is still there almost two months later. I contacted the company and they responded quickly asking me to buy odor eaters , put them in and cover the bag for two weeks which is what I did. After two weeks the smell was still there. I took the bag to my dry cleaners who specializes in leather and she helped get a lot of the smell out. But still until today, once I open the bag I still smell the odor. The company did offer me a refund and they were very easy to deal with.

This is a lovely handbag; however, it would be better if it had the metal bottom protectors. I intend to take it to a shoe repair shop to see if they can install bottom protectors. I have a Provence bag which I love-love, and I just recently bought the Tulle. This company makes quality products which are durable (so far), and I recommend them.

It is a pretty bag but the straps are a little thin and I worry that they may break under the weight of the bag's contents since I intend to use as a tote/purse in which I can slip my lap top, phone, wallet and personal items. I was hoping for more substantial handles.

Considering the distance it traveled, delivery time from ordering was fairly quick. About 4-5 days. I love my bag. This was my second purchase from these craftsmen. Beautiful work. Stitching is precise and accurate. Zippers are super easy glide type. I also have a long wallet in Raspberry and I just placed another or for another bag. I LOVE the beautiful workmanship. It is a beautiful purse. I do love it for the space and sleek elegance but the inside layer of hide in the purse smells terrible. I have had to febreze it many times and it still smells pretty bad.

I receive all three bags. The blue tote I loved until I opened it. The smell is terrible. I have not been able to use the bag. I have tried fabric softener sheets, even putting a scented candle inside the bag for several days, but nothing works. I can not use the bag because it smells like an animal died inside it. I previously sent a message to customer service but got no response. SOOOOOoooooo disappointed.

I’m able to find my phone and keys without fumbling through the bottom. I even have room to throw a sweater in. The straps always stay in place and it is large, but slim in depth, so it doesn’t feel bulky. Great price for such a quality bag!
